Krampus Review: A chilling and creepy christmas tale

In this modern take on the myth, Adam Scott, Toni Collette, David Koechner, and their family take on the Krampus and his minions in the surprisingly enjoyable film.

The film follows a young boy whose family comes to visit, and while he tries to keep his holiday spirit, he eventually becomes disheartened and inadvertently summons the Krampus.

The film had ever right to fail, as most hollywood horror flicks do, but it didn’t. Although the script was rather formulaic and predictable, the creepy and well manufactured antagonists made for a wonderful thrill ride.

The film gracefully walked the line of humorous and thrilling, with funny quips interjecting through suspenseful music and ominous foreshadowing.

The film is ultimately a great watch that will surely become a welcome watch to cable channels in the near future for years to come.
